W116 PRAYER REQUEST FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE AND JULY 2009

Phil 4:06

Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

ELAINE

1). Pray for my 3 exam papers that I can do well in them:

24th June: Accounting, Decisions and Accountability

30th June: Organizational Behaviour

1st July: Macroeconomics

2). Pray that I can find a good paying part-time job in Adelaide.

3). Pray that Victoria, Yuan Jun and myself will have journey mercy as we travel to Boston, China and Singapore respectively.

4). Pray that W116 & EC zone will continue to grow in size, strength and depth.

(But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles ; they will run and now grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint.)

Counting down to come back to SG.. haha

YEN LENG (SHIFU)

1). My parents, family and extended family members to receive God's Salvation

2). Work: Able to complete my UAT smoothly and within the required schedule

and system will be in smooth order.

3). Protection against all viruses and good health.

4). Closer and more intimate relationship with God and able to encounter God in a

greater measure.

3). People can forgive her for any word and action that she might have done before

and sincerely apologize from her own kind and sincere heart. (This is love!)

GRACE

1). Do well in new Job. (I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me)

Career:

1) I pray that I would work more efficient and effectively for the task that mine dad

gave it to me.

2) I pray that I would work from 07.00hrs to 18.20hrs so that there is enough time

to go bible study, cell group meeting.

Cell Group:

1) I pray that I would spent time fellowship with the cell group member by being

able to communicate more and grow more in the cell group.

2) I pray that I would give more encourage to cell group; our cell group will grow

multiply for this year.

Ministry:

1) I pray that I would serve usher efficiently and effectively in the areas that I

am in-charge , be able to speak out more in the service and also to the usher team leader or member

if i am not sure and not familiar of instructions given at the usher briefing.

2) I pray that I would grow and communicate more in usher and also to be able to give encouragement to both my usher ministry team leader & Member (Yonghui,Ivy,Hui Tong,jieyun,genevie,john,quang yee)-(Mine own Group),(Bernard).

3) I pray that I would continue to carry the humility and hopsitally spirit in serving usher and to meet the

congretation needs.

Health:

1) I pray that God would heal my spine and back aching problem and the pain will alleviate and not be so painful.

2) I pray that God would heal my leg (which has been giving me a lot of problem since I was young) as I am unable to kneel for too long and unable to squat sometimes.

Myself:(QY)

1) I pray that I would spend more quiet time and also be disciplined in bible study time with God every day.

2) I pray that I would be able to go through this whole session of counselling and

be able to cooperate with the counsellor to talk out mine problem and also to Chong, Ng and Joshua Tham.

YUAN JUN

1). To continue progressing and growing in God’s kingdom, in both Bible knowledge and real encounter with God.

2). To be guided by God towards ministry affairs.

3). To see breakthroughs in every W116 sisters’ and brothers’ life.

I believe God’s blessing will surely come upon Shi Fu, Shella, Amanda, Vic,

Isabelle, Verona, Grace, Qi Hui, Elaine, Xiu Wen, Ben, Quang Yee, Chong, Wei

Liang, Ng and me, in this coming two months and in various parts of our lives.

4)To be more active and contribute more to grow CG.
To have a peaceful but also exciting two weeks trip back home.
To commit more time and perform even better in part-time work.

1) Grow the Cell Group by 2 more new friends for June and 2 more new friends for July this year.

2) Cell group will be more united. : Members will intercede in prayer for each other, will be willing to meet up occasionally for fellowship, encourage each other, and be a strong support for each other.

3) Cell Group will be more blessed. Our needs will be met:

e) Physical endurance :)

4) Find 2 tuition assignments with pay average $200 - $250 per month each. Really need Financial Blessing now!

12/06-Last Day of Morning Prayer Meeting

--I am not gonna complain about my life, which is given and planned by my LORD.

Hehe, praise the Lord, I stepped into church auditorium punctually, peacefully, cheerfully on this last day of June's MPM.
I am indeed grateful to God and proud of myself through this week's MPM. All by God's grace, I woke up everyday early and cheerfully, did not need to force myself to go; I never missed a single MPM, attended most sessions punctually; and after MPM, I still had enough energy to work everyday. And of course, what is most important is that I did receive certain revelations and felt my spirit being strengthened greatly by God. Only with God, all these things can be done.

1 thought came to me and here I shall take it down.

Jesus is the Truth, still Jesus suffered so much, for us, for me.
I, being a child of God, always pray to God that I can find the Truth, that I can seek Jesus. But, in my heart, I just don't have the kind of willingness to accept and endure the sufferings as Jesus did for us.
Oh, how immature my faith is. How much more there is for me to grow up in the Kingdom of God.
Yes, LORD, everything in my life, let it be done according to Your will. Any sufferings that are for Your sake, I will give my all to accept and endure them peacefully. In my life, I am not gonna complain about my life, complain about even very small things, because my life is given and planned by You, my LORD.

I continued to pray for Shi Fu, Grace and Xiu Wen during this MPM.

Shi Fu, you are a truely great 'Shi Fu' in my eyes. The way you talk, do things, the love and faith you have, the good characters you possess, all of them I appreciate so much. I can always find the right way of doing things from how you do them; I can always feel the peace you have in your life. Shi Fu, I pray, everyday, you will live a better life than yesterday. I pray great joy comes upon you, in God's kingdom, in your family, in your work, in every area of your life. And of course, I believe, at a good time, God will come, bless you tremendously with not only one, but maybe two or even more beautiful children to your life.
Shi Fu, you have been bringing joy into our lives, and there is surely a time that God will bring the Greatest Joy to you.

Grace, recently I couldn't see you so frequently, but every time I saw you, I just felt so happy. I remember one of our talks which was quite a long time ago, in the talk some of your words touched me so deeply that I don't think I will forget. I was asking why you went to Expo service alone while we were all at Jurong West, you told me that you went to Expo to worship God, and it doesn't matter so much of where you go, since putting God first is the essence of our faith.
I was and am still so touched by these words, I guess you must have forgotten these words but they indeed touched and impacted me a lot. Grace, all the best for your work and life here in Singapore. It's indeed not easy to live in a foreign country and especially you are a girl. Will always pray for you.

Xiu Wen, in the Bible Study today, just know that you were not feeling well today, and could tell that you were quite tired and weak now. I know you are a strong woman of God, and it really makes me worry about you to see you being so sick, but I know God is doing the healing right now and soon the Xiu Wen I know will come back to us, happily, energetically and with a cheerful heart containing 100% pure love for God. It has been so great knowing you, so young but doing so many great work for God. I wish one day I can be like you, doing great work for God. Also, I always like to talk to you and really thank you for sharing with me about our God.
Xiu Wen, God bless your study in NTU, and I believe through you, more and more people will feel the love of God, more and more people will enter into the kingdom of God! Keep on shinning for Him!

I like attending prayer meetings, I never prayed so much for others before. And thank God, I have fulfilled my vow of attending all the MPMs.

Thank You, LORD, that I can also take all these words down, to keep they as good courage in my future life.
From all these, I know God loves me and strengthens me everyday.
And I know, in God, we are children of a Family called W116. Amen.
